Robert Half is supporting the recruiting efforts of a company in the manufacturing industry to find a Plant Controller. This is a full time, permanent position in Littleton. Responsibilities:
• Manage all plant accounting operations, including accounts payable, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of annual budgets and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct thorough audits to maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide insights and recommendations for cost optimization and business growth.
• Implement and maintain accounting software systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics to assess plant performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the development and execution of strategic plans by providing detailed financial forecasts and analysis.
• Lead and mentor accounting staff to ensure high performance and foster growth.
• Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate smooth and successful audit processes.
Requirements • Proven experience in plant or manufacturing accounting roles, with a strong focus on financial management.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems such as Epicor, Eaton, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable, budget processes, and financial reporting.
• Expertise in auditing practices and ensuring compliance with financial standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Experience in developing and managing annual budgets and forecasts.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate across teams and guide accounting personnel.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
