    Position Description:

    CGI is seeking an experienced functional resource and account manager to support the implementation and ongoing management of the Sunflower Asset management system for a variety of clients, including government agencies and defense contractors. The resource will be a lead and/or be a member of the functional implementation team and assist the organizations through the functional activities, including configuration, as-is process identification, to-be process definition, detailed designs, process re-engineering, conversion, testing, and training. They should have an understanding and demonstrated knowledge of the SDLC process and a knowledge of federal asset management best practices, processes and procedures would be preferred. Further, they should have significant knowledge of Sunflower Assets, and ideally have an understanding of the Finance module. The resource should also be ready to take on account management activities.

     

    The Sunflower Asset Management solution is a web-based and mobile enterprise asset management software tool used by federal agencies, contractors, national labs, state and local government organizations, and higher educational institutes. All functional team members receive Sunflower software and asset management training prior to providing customer support.

     

    The functional resource will provide managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development and implementation for complex to extremely complex systems in the subject matter area. Make recommendations and advise on system improvements in the following specialties: information systems architecture; networking; telecommunications; automation; communications protocols; risk management/electronic analysis; software; life-cycle management; software development methodologies; and asset management. The functional resource will also provide managerial and administrative direction for functional domains, related to IT systems and projects. These domains may include but,ar

     

    This position is located in our Arlington, Virginia office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    The individual will be involved in a variety of functional and business process tasks to meet the client objectives. This may include:

     

    • Analyzing and identifying current business processes and system functionality to determine the best methods for meeting migration objectives

    • Creating documentation, written policies, and standard operating procedures for distribution to all individuals involved in the implementation process

    • Participating in and leading configuration sessions and to-be process definition meetings with migrating

    • organizations

    • Developing design documentation based on customer requirements that will be leveraged to develop functionality

    • Testing system functionality and troubleshooting system errors

    • Participating and leading meetings with system stakeholders to solicit and consolidate feedback on the system and business processes in use

    • Developing business process efficiencies for the client both prior to implementation and post-implementation

    • Additional tasks as necessary to meet customer objectives

    • Provide Sunflower and asset management subject matter expertise

    • Sunflower Account Management across all BUs

    • Coordinate the creation, renewal, and ongoing maintenance of customer contracts

    • Provide technical and functional support for implementations and operations and maintenance services across accounts

    • Sunflower Business Development Support

    • Manage account growth for existing accounts as needed

    • Lead and/or contribute to ROM/proposal development, pricing, and step reviews for existing accounts and BU business development support

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    • Sunflower or Personal Property / Real Property Asset management experience required

    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the information technology, service, business operations, customer support, consulting or asset management fields. Acts as a service provider to clients and project teams

    • Familiarity with the organizations, roles, and systems involved in the federal financials process (Personal Property / Real Property Asset Management preferred)

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective business relationships and networks both internally and externally

    • Excellent problem-solving skills, complex decision-making capabilities, and the ability to multi-task

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency developing and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences.

    • Self-directed style

    • Ability to apply strategic vision to tactical operations and guide projects through multiple stages

    Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

    • Preference for experience with IP program and IP project delivery experience

    • Financial and purchasing systems experience and knowledge preferred

    • Sunflower assets Finance module experience preferred

    • Experience in implementation and support of a federal IT system (Personal Property / Real Property Asset Management preferred)

     

    CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $173,500.00.
