Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial records, ensuring accurate accounting, and supporting the financial health of the organization. Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Prepare and process payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of financial reports.

• Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain financial records in accounting systems.

• Oversee account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to streamline financial processes and reporting.

• Monitor and track budgets to ensure alignment with organizational financial goals.

• Assist with tax preparation and compliance by providing accurate financial data.

• Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and provide insight as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping or related experience.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.

• Experience with account reconciliation and month-end close procedures.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.

• Familiarity with tax preparation and compliance is a plus.
