Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Crimes Compliance Analyst to join our team in Blue Ash, Ohio. This role involves supporting our client-focused initiatives by analyzing financial data, identifying suspicious activities, and ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. You will collaborate with team members across various industries to deliver high-quality services and contribute to process improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed analyses of financial data and transactional activities to detect potential fraudulent or unusual patterns.
• Perform internal investigations, open-source media searches, and negative news reviews to build comprehensive client profiles.
• Document findings and prepare reports with recommendations for further review or escalation, ensuring compliance with AML protocols.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver timely and accurate client deliverables, including status updates and final reports.
• Guide team members in early career stages by providing feedback on their work quality and supporting their growth.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes and suggest innovative solutions to improve service delivery.
• Prepare dashboards and summary reports outlining key project findings and accomplishments.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes effectively to team management and stakeholders.
• Support training and knowledge-building initiatives, focusing on areas like cybersecurity, privacy, and financial crimes compliance.
• Foster strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service. Requirements • Proven experience in financial crimes compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC) and AML principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and draw actionable insights.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with conducting media searches and negative news checks.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry regulations and best practices.
