    Description

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with the preparation of the annual city and state tax returns

    • subsidiaries (presence in over 28 states, potential nexus studies to carry on);

    • Assist with the preparation of any returns/forms in relation to the state income tax (extension,

    • regularization, etc.);

    • Under the direction of a tax team member, develop documentation to support responses for

    • tax return audits/notices;

    • Assist the Tax Team on any tax topic that could concern the US entities (federal income tax,

    • specific taxes, etc.);

    • Work to gain expertise and stay up to date in state income tax legislation but also in federal

    • and international income tax legislation.

    Requirements

    Skills and requirements:

    • BS in Accounting (or related with relevant experience)

    • Master's in Accounting or Tax, a plus

    • 2+ years of applicable experience

    • Exposure to OneSource tax provision and return preparation software experience a plus

    • Ability to effectively interact with and work collaboratively with other team members

    • Collaborate with Tax Team and with the Business and Finance teams

    • Experience with large consolidated state returns a plus

    • Ability to maintain composure and focus as deadlines approach

    • Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on detail orientation

    • Quick learner and open to changes in an international environment

    • CPA or CPA eligible, a plus
