Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Long Beach, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in managing financial processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and tax payments, while gaining valuable experience in the financial services industry. Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.

• Conduct account reconciliations, verifying balances and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Assist in preparing and processing tax payments, adhering to compliance standards.

• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions to manage financial data effectively.

• Analyze financial accounts and provide insights to support decision-making.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure all accounting functions are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Apply account coding principles to categorize and organize financial transactions.

• Prepare financial reports and summaries to support audits and internal reviews.

• Maintain and update financial documentation using tools such as Adobe Acrobat. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems, ERP solutions, and tools such as Dynamics NAV.

• Strong skills in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.

• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and other financial documentation tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Previous experience in the financial services industry, particularly in credit unions or banking, is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
