Description
We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic team in the Hoboken, New Jersey area. In this role, you will oversee tax compliance, planning, and accounting processes while ensuring alignment with current regulations. As the internal subject matter expert, you will play a critical role in supporting strategic initiatives and providing expert guidance on tax-related matters. Salary is 130,000-150,000 plus bonus.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and complete federal and state income tax returns, including conducting thorough analyses and providing supporting documentation.
• Manage the preparation and filing of various property tax returns.
• Oversee global transfer pricing compliance and ensure adherence to established policies.
• Collaborate with external service providers to coordinate transfer pricing documentation and filings.
• Analyze financial data to identify transfer pricing issues and develop models to support intercompany transactions.
• Lead audits of federal and state income tax filings, as well as state and local filings.
• Implement tax planning strategies to optimize compliance and financial outcomes.
• Act as a liaison between operating management and accounting staff on tax-related issues.
• Establish and maintain internal controls over income tax accounting, including drafting process documentation and monitoring adherence to control procedures.
• Provide quarterly evidence to demonstrate compliance with internal control applications.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of corporate tax experience, preferably in a global or public accounting environment.
• Proficiency in tax applications and research tools, such as OneSource, Corptax, and Checkpoint.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software systems, including ADP Financial Services, CaseWare, and CCH ProSystem Fx.
• Expertise in annual income tax provisions, compliance, and auditing processes.
• Solid understanding of transfer pricing models and intercompany transaction strategies.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve tax-related issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
