Software Development Senior Manager

HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SENIOR MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
• Manages the design and development of enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
• Provides leadership from analysis to deployment to team members ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. These software projects range from small enhancements to projects with consuming 8,000 billable hours. The team currently consists of two technical leads and seven developers. This leader will also indirectly manage functional testers and business analysts
• Work with the customer to set timelines and manage expectations.
• Leadership for the team will include mentoring, coaching, and performance management of all team members.
• This leader will use experience in Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) to provide value added to the customer in helping them solve the issues challenging Medicaid today.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• Required Experience: 5 years of experience leading software development teams in the Medicaid Management Information Systems area.
• Required Technical Skills: Certified Scrum Master, Agile Methodology and Tools, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
• Required Skills and Abilities: 5 years experience in working with customers to translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in leading teams in COBOL development.

The likely salary range for this position is $165,750 - $224,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
