**Boeing Defense, Space and Security** (BDS) is looking for **Senior Program Manager - B-52 Advanced Extremely High Frequency** (AEHF) **SATCOM** . This position will be located in **Oklahoma City, OK** .
B-52 AEHF Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Risk Reduction phase is a critical prototype program involving trade studies, risk mitigation plans and a Systems Integration Roadmap that will lead to down-select or sole source award for the PDR to CDR (Milestone C).
The Risk Reduction Phase is 12 months, expected to start 31 October 2025. The Program Manager (PM) will be leading a cross-functional team in developing a low-risk solution and winning strategy in this competitive environment where four or more contractors will be performing parallel Risk Reduction award studies and competing to be selected for the ultimate PDR to CDR down-select award.
The Program development scope involves implementing a GFE FAB-T Force Element Terminal, with associated electronics and antenna components, environmental controls, structural modifications, and other aircraft accommodations. The Customer’s most important requirements include aircraft availability, speed to capability fielding, optimized integration for insertion modifications at a dedicated location or into the Planned Depot Maintenance cycle, as well as overall schedule and cost effectiveness.
The primary customer interfaces are Air Force Material Command (AFMC) and Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC). The AEHF PM will report to the Vice President (VP) of Bombers in Oklahoma City, OK.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Partnering with the proposal and program teams to develop a winning strategy that aligns to the Customer’s Most Important Requirements and leading the Risk Reduction phase to demonstrate that Boeing has the most compelling and lowest risk solution.
+ Responsible for leading, executing, and delivering best value trades, design solutions, optimize aircraft modification solutions that lead to minimum interference with current B-52 programs
+ Orchestrates and integrates contractual compliance and alignment across all supporting Functions and Program IPTs.
+ Leads a culture and discipline of prioritizing safety, first-time quality, on-time milestone completion, and baseline controls.
+ Responsible for RIO effectiveness and overall PM best practice adherence.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
**This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.** An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher or equivalent work experience
+ 10+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives
+ 5+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
+ 3+ years of experience in a management role working with both direct reports and business unit leaders
+ 3+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
+ 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
+ Critical thinking, attention to detail, positive attitude
+ Lead by influence.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ 15+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives
+ 10+ years of experience managing risks, cost performance and schedule performance
+ 10+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
+ Extensive experience in leading, operating, and managing aerospace laboratories.
+ Experience with defense related programs.
+ Strong business and technical acumen and relationship skills needed to build partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
+ Inspirational leadership and communication skills.
+ Detailed knowledge of Enterprise functions supporting the programs.
+ Ability to effectively interface with all levels of customer and Boeing leadership.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for $167,450 - $226,550
