    E Shift Coach

     

    Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking to hire an Evening/Night Shift Supervisor (Coach)to lead production activities at our Spring plant in Monroe, Georgia. This position will work E shift on a 10 hour, four day schedule with 3 day weekends every week. (Occasionally some Friday’s will be needed) We are looking to hire a Production Department Supervisor with proven experience in manufacturing and the ability to coach and develop a successful team.

     

    What you’ll do

     

    + Lead production employees to ensure job duties are performed safely and effectively

    + Conduct safety meetings

    + Complete reporting and scheduling duties

    + Ensure safety, environmental and quality compliance

    + Facilitate open communication to keep production efficiency.

    + Maintain accurate attendance and payroll records.

    + Responsible for developing a strong team environment

    + Manage turnover

    + Ensure quality to minimize scrap and rework

    + Initiate corrective and preventive action when necessary

    + Identify, record and report problems relating to the product, process and quality

    Minimum qualifications

    + 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

    + Excellent communication skills

    + Ability to work with diverse workforce in both an office and manufacturing environment

    + Must be detail oriented and well organized

    + Possess the ability to motivate others and cultivate teamwork

    + Ability to multitask

    + Experience with Safety, Quality Systems and Continuous Improvement preferred

    + Previous supervisory experience
