Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to manage and process payroll operations for our organization near Villa Park, Illinois. This role involves overseeing full-cycle payroll functions, ensuring compliance with union regulations, and maintaining accurate records. If you are skilled in payroll systems and possess strong organizational abilities, we encourage you to apply. This role will offer a salary between 80K-95K with medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k and paid time off.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage complex semi-monthly and hourly payroll operations accurately and on time.

• Ensure compliance with union agreements and organizational policies.

• Maintain and reconcile payroll-related accounts within the general ledger.

• Handle garnishments, deductions, and benefits administration with precision.

• Utilize payroll software, such as ADP Workforce Now, to streamline processes.

• Audit payroll data for accuracy and address discrepancies promptly.

• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure seamless operations.

• Generate payroll reports and provide insights to support financial planning.

• Stay updated on payroll regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.

Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, including union payroll.

• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now and other payroll systems.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and accounting functions.

• Familiarity with garnishments, deductions, and benefits administration.

• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
