Description

We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team in Killeen, Texas. This is a contract position within the financial services industry, offering an excellent opportunity to support branch operations and strengthen customer relationships. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to perform a variety of financial and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining positive relationships.

• Ensure compliance with state and federal lending regulations, as well as company policies, during all branch operations.

• Accurately post payments and fees to customer accounts, adhering to established company procedures.

• Enter loan application data and associated documents into the system with precision and attention to detail.

• Process credit loan applications, issue checks for approved loans, and assist with branch expense management.

• Support the branch manager by executing loan closures and ensuring smooth daily operations.

• Maintain accurate records of title documentation and other required reports.

• Contribute to building customer accounts through effective communication and service delivery.

• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to ensure efficient branch functionality.

Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficiency in computer usage and data entry.

• Strong numerical and basic math skills.

• All candidates are required to complete a screening process.

• Previous experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.

• Familiarity with the consumer finance industry is an advantage.

• Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to handle multiple tasks while remaining calm under pressure.
