Job Description

Test Technician

Build, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electromechanical assemblies; per applicable documentation and quality workmanship standards.

Job Summary

+ Perform tests in accordance with test procedures.

+ Document testing and record test results.

+ Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions at the component and subassembly level.

+ Solder various components to PCB Assemblies.

+ Wire and solder prototypes and other complex assemblies of unique or unusual design per applicable specifications.

+ Assemble chassis components using a variety of hardware.

+ Assemble electromechanical devices using a variety of hardware.

+ Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members.

+ Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:

+ Associates degree in electronics technology preferred, or 3 or more years in manufacturing setting with knowledge of products

+ 3 - 6 months experience

Required Skills & Qualifications:

+ Basic computer skills (Excel and Word).

+ Basic Access skills per location requirements

+ Ability to operate electronic test equipment specifically including oscilloscopes, function generators, and digital volt meters

+ Ability to read and interpret wiring drawings and schematic diagrams

+ Ability to read and interpret engineering assembly drawings

+ Ability to read and understand production drawings

+ Basic soldering skills

+ Ability to build electronic assemblies

+ Abilities listed in General Requirements of Team Members

Required Experience and Education

+ Associates degree in electronics technology preferred, or 3 or more years in manufacturing setting with knowledge of products

+ 3 - 6 months experience
