    Morning and Overnight Shifts: 7AM to 3PM on Sunday, 11PM to 7AM on Tuesday

     

    Walking and Standing Required for Foot Patrol Duties

    As a **Security Officer - Healthcare Desk** in **Gaithersburg, MD** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

     

    As a Front Desk professional in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attentiveness. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining a welcoming environment. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to support your duties. Our team values reliability, innovation, and integrity, working together to create a positive experience for everyone entering the facility.

     

    Position Type: Part Time

     

    Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    Day** **Time

     

    Tue11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

     

    Sun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

    Responsibilities:

    + Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk, following site-specific policies and procedures.

    + Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and managing visitor logs as required.

    + Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

    + Communicate with staff and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.

    + Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and directing individuals to appropriate areas within the location.

    + Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

    + Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

    + Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
