Examples of Duties
This teammate will provide administrative support to the Finance Director and Senior Managers in performing duties of an advanced, complex, sensitive and confidential nature; attend management staff meetings, take minutes, and performs related duties.
+ Coordinate calendars and meetings, create agendas, take notes, and follow up with lists of action items for attendees
+ Oversee and manage the Director’s email inbox, ensuring confidentiality and high-priority messages are identified, categorized, and addressed timely.
+ Daily deposits, reconciling cash receipts from other departments.
+ Coordination of budget meetings with cross departmental staff, budget committee and City Council.
+ Coordination and support of the annual budget development process including formatting and publishing budget documents, examining budgetary requests, and publishing relevant public hearing notices.
+ Oversee the completion and distribution of the Cities budget document.
+ Explain budget process to staff, council and members of the public as requested.

Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade supplemented by college-level coursework or specialized training in business or secretarial science and five (5) years of administrative assistant, executive assistant, office management, or related experience or two (2) years of experience equivalent to Senior Administrative Specialist at the City of Tigard.

Union Representation: Not applicable for this position
Schedule: This position is on-site with a 4/10’s schedule Monday-Thursday generally from 7:30am – 6:00pm with some flexibility. Schedule may be adjusted periodically for meetings or trainings.
