As a member of the Medium Gas Turbine (MGT) Field Service

Team, you will embark on an exhilarating opportunity, traveling extensively

across the United States and the broader North American region, with the chance

for occasional international adventures as well!

Serving as a MGT Technician on-site, you will become the

vital, hands-on link between Siemens Energy and our esteemed clients. The MGT

Technician is a fully REMOTE position that works with the Gas Turbine Field

Service Operations based in Deer Park, Texas. The selected candidate will

provide service and technical support for the MGT product line, SGT-600,

SGT-700, SGT-750 & SGT-800. Services include mechanical disassembly,

inspection reassembly and commissioning during planned or unplanned outages, long-term-service

contracts, and any modernizations and upgrades!

responsibilities that range from managing standard service outages to

overseeing new unit installations and commissioning, implementing site

modifications and upgrades, addressing breakdowns, and taking on distinctive

How You Will Make anImpact

+ Maintain thehighest level of a zero-harm culture in part by following and carrying outall company and customer EHS policies and programs.

+ Responsible forall facets of the company’s scope of work during equipment installationand/or subsequent service inspections/outages on MGT units, but ability tocross train and be applied in related product families is expected.

+ Plan / performand coordinate onsite service and maintenance activities whilecoordinating with project and engineering teams to ensure customer’sexpectations are met or exceeded.

+ Able to carryout and supervise mechanical aspects of Gas Turbine Inspection proceduressuch as visual inspection, borescope Inspection, filter changes, valveservicing including return to service following accurate standards andprocedures. Maintain an accurate record of activity carried out on site -Produce written reports.

+ Travel forextended periods of time, both domestic and international as assigned.Must carry valid passport, be able to pass both required background checksand required drug and alcohol testing. International assignments arelikely to include travel to developing countries.

+ Able to performduties on day or night shift under difficult conditions, heat, cold,noise, etc. and must be able to travel on short notice, work weekends andholidays.

What You Bring

+ Must have aHigh School diploma or GED that can be verified.

+ Must have aminimum of 3 years of experience in oil and gas or power generation field; 3+ years of experience with Mechanical, Industrial or Aeroderivative GasTurbines is preferred; Candidates with greater experience may beconsidered for a higher-level position.

+ Familiar withstrip/rebuild of rotating mechanical equipment, function of associatedequipment and auxiliary air, fuel and oil systems and familiarity withborescope inspections and techniques and laser alignment is a strong plus.

+ Ability towrite detailed technical reports for engineering review and analysis;Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and technicaldocuments

+ Previousindustrial or aeroderivative gas turbine outage experience in the PowerGeneration or Oil and Gas Industries is preferred

+ Must hold (or have the ability to obtain) validdriver’s license and passport.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the

United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work

authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be

eligible for internal transfers.
