A Snapshot of Your Day

The Centerline Resources group provides certified Technical Field Assistance (TFA) engineers for the erection and commissioning of new gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and synchronous condensers. As manager of the group, you will be responsible for hiring, training, certifying, and deploying engineers to new unit job sites. The group also provides technical support for issues that may arise during erection and commissioning.

How You’ll Make an Impact

+ Provide on site TFA engineers for the erection and commissioning of new centerline equipment

+ Support the field with technical information to resolve issues

+ Develop training material and teach classes to support continuous learning

+ Manage new engineers through the certification process

What You Bring

+ Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, or related field. Or combined equivalent (extensive experience/educational background including potential technical certifications or degrees).

+ 5+ years of experience in the field of power plant maintenance or construction.

+ Demonstrated history of managing people remotely in various time zones and countries.

+ Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently in addition to working well in groups. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work for yourself and others, under strict timelines and being flexible to changing needs.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong technical writing skills. Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and ability to learn others as needed).

+ Flexibility and willingness for domestic and international travel 20%.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
