Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Spring Boot Microservices MySQL and AWS IoT along with domain experience in Product Lifecycle Management. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a day shift with no travel required.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and maintain scalable applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture to enhance product functionality.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust solutions that meet business requirements.

+ Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity using MySQL to support application efficiency.

+ Integrate AWS IoT services to enable seamless connectivity and data exchange between devices and applications.

+ Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code standards are maintained.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

+ Participate in agile development processes contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives for continuous improvement.

+ Document technical specifications and system designs to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development.

+ Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and improve project outcomes.

+ Collaborate with product managers to align development efforts with product lifecycle management strategies.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster skill development and team growth.

+ Ensure compliance with security protocols and best practices to protect sensitive data and maintain system integrity.

+ Contribute to the companys mission by delivering high-quality software solutions that enhance user experience and drive business success.

Qualifications

+ Possess strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture essential for developing scalable applications.

+ Demonstrate expertise in MySQL for optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity.

+ Have hands-on experience with AWS IoT for integrating seamless connectivity and data exchange.

+ Exhibit domain knowledge in Product Lifecycle Management to align development efforts with business strategies.

+ Show ability to work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office work effectively.

+ Display excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

+ Possess strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Certifications Required

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Spring Professional Certification

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $105K - $115K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
