Senior Software Engineer** **(On-site)

We are seeking a highly qualified **Senior Software Engineer** **(On-site) with 6+ r** ole involves designing developing and maintaining software applications using a variety of technologies. The candidate will work in focusing on AWS SQL Spring Boot Java Spring MVC JavaScript and MySQL.

Responsibilities:

+ Develop high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC to meet business requirements and improve system efficiency.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable applications that leverage AWS cloud services.

+ Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity using SQL and MySQL, contributing to reliable and efficient data management.

+ Implement front-end functionality using JavaScript to enhance user experience and interface responsiveness.

+ Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure software reliability and performance.

+ Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adhere to best practices in software development.

+ Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications, ensuring seamless operation and user satisfaction.

+ Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development processes.

+ Document software designs, specifications, and processes for future reference and team collaboration.

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development.

+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly in the Payer domain, to maintain data security and privacy.

+ Contribute to project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of software solutions that meet business objectives.

+ Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance technical skills and domain knowledge.

Qualifications

+ 6+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, mySQL, Javascript, Spring MVC, SQL, AWS

+ Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

+ Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and technologies.

+ Possess strong communication skills enabling effective collaboration with multi-functional teams and partners.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until May 30th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $97K – $114K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
