Description
Bethel Farms is looking for aTalent Acquisition & Development Specialistto join our HR team. This position will be a full-time office position located in our Arcadia, Florida office.
The Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist, reporting to the Director of Humana Resources, will lead efforts in attracting exceptional talent and cultivating employee development. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and overseeing impactful training programs that support long-term growth and retention. The ideal candidate will bring innovation to the hiring process through the latest tools and technologies, while fostering a culture of continuous learning aligned with Bethel’s mission and values.
Strategic Talent Acquisition
• Partner with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment plans.
• Collaborate with departmental leaders to define job requirements, desired competencies, and performance expectations.
• Leverage advanced technologies (e.g., AI screening tools, automated sourcing, predictive analytics) to enhance hiring decisions and reduce time-to-fill.
• Continuously evaluate and implement innovative recruitment methods to attract high-quality candidates and boost long-term retention.
• Create standardized interview guides to ensure consistency and fairness across departments.
• Manage job postings across internal and external platforms and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, social media, and other creative channels.
• Screen applications, conduct interviews, and assess candidates for skills, character, and cultural alignment.
• Coordinate interviews and communication loops with hiring teams, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
• Facilitate the offer process and manage background checks, references (including CDL), and pre-employment screenings.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline for both immediate and future organizational needs.
Onboarding & Retention
• Design and implement a structured onboarding process that immerses new hires in Bethel’s culture, values, and mission.
• Lead welcome sessions, team introductions, and provide branded welcome kits.
• Conduct 45-day stay interviews to collect early feedback and assess engagement.
• Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve the new hire experience to enhance retention.
Training & Development
• Lead the development and delivery of structured employee training and career development programs.
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and create job-specific learning paths.
• Implement technology-enabled learning (e-learning platforms, LMS, virtual training) for scalable delivery.
• Oversee leadership development, compliance training, and professional skill-building initiatives.
• Track training effectiveness and engagement, and adjust strategies based on feedback and business needs.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth throughout the organization.
Internships & Community Partnerships
• Build and manage robust internship programs aligned with workforce development strategies.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local colleges, universities, and community organizations.
• Represent Bethel at job fairs and recruitment events to strengthen employer brand awareness and expand outreach.
Compliance, Data & Reporting
• Ensure recruitment and training practices comply with all federal, state, and local labor laws.
• Maintain accurate job descriptions, conduct compensation benchmarking, and update role profiles as needed.
• Monitor key HR and recruiting metrics (e.g., cost-per-hire, turnover rates, training participation) and provide regular reports to HR leadership.
• Continuously assess and improve processes to optimize candidate and employee engagement.
Other Duties
• Support HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Director, contributing to broader organizational goals.
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in recruiting
• Experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Knowledge of EEO, ADA, and other labor compliance regulations.
• Proven successful in working with a team.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Bilingual – English and Spanish, plus
