Job Overview:

This is an Oncology Pharmacist role based within the Outpatient Infusion Center for Trinitas Regional Medical Center.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD

Preferred:

+ One year of IV sterile compounding and oncology experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

+ Registered Pharmacist with NJ Board of Pharmacy; current New Jersey licensure

Scheduling Requirements:

+ Thursday and Friday weekly (day shift) and additional shifts possible as available

+ Per Diem (PD)

Essential Functions:

+ Responsible for the provision of oncology patient care

+ Ensures that the patients receive appropriate treatment including chemotherapy and support medication management

+ Responsible for the preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of outpatient and inpatient care of oncology patients

+ Has good interpersonal skills and maintains a relationship within the interdisciplinary care team

+ Proficient in EPIC, Beacon and navigation within the system

+ Exercises considerable independent decision-making
