    + Oversee the daily operations of community living programs and the persons served supported in the programs including but not limited to identifying and monitoring health and safety issues, person centered planning and implementation, compliance, implementation of direct supports, stakeholder relations and financial management.

    + Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSP) including performance management, training, coaching, performance evaluations and retention initiatives.

    + Coordinate, schedule and document DSP participation and performance in orientation and in-service trainings and completion of other alternative self-directed learning and development.

    + Assist with the ongoing development of services based on the needs of the persons served – including intake and referral process, securing housing and assuring the appropriate level of support.

    + Advocate for persons served in the community while maintaining open communication, both written and oral.

    + Assist persons served with activities of daily living, physical healthcare and maintenance tasks, etc. as needed.

    + Observe and solicit feedback from DSPs, persons served and their families regarding training needs and desired opportunities.

    + Participate in an on-call rotation as determined by the Program Director

    + Ability to coordinate and provide oversight for multiple sites providing services to person served with Intellectual Disabilities, Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or Brain Injury (BI) through:

    + Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills, budgetary management skills and ability to develop, organize and coordinate activities related to the persons served and organizational goals.

    + Ability to represent the organization and the persons served in a professional manner:

    + Exemplary written documentation, clear and professional verbal communication and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

    + Ability to speak, read and write in English.

    + This position requires a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, good driving record, and current vehicle insurance coverage, which meet the specified requirements of EPI’s Driving Policy.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or related field and;

    + Two (2) years of experience in developing, coordinating and/or delivery of disability services

    + One (1) year of supervisory experience

    + Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

    + A valid driver's license, and the ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, the Sex Offender registry, and a criminal history check.
