VCA Urgent Care offers same-day access to high-quality, compassionate veterinary care. Our technical team works in pairs, using a digital whiteboard to streamline diagnostics and treatments, keeping doctors updated in real time. We emphasize low-stress handling, hands-free radiology, and an efficient treatment space to ensure patient comfort.

What You’ll Do:

+ Provide **compassionate nursing care** for urgent care patients, including triage, diagnostics, treatments, and monitoring.

+ Assist veterinarians with **exams, procedures, and client education** , ensuring clear communication about patient needs.

+ Perform **laboratory testing, radiology, and pharmacy duties** with accuracy and efficiency.

+ Maintain accurate **medical records** and uphold best practices for patient safety and infection control.

+ Utilize **advanced technology** to support the streamlined, high-quality care model at VCA Urgent Care.

Qualifications

+ Minimum 2+ years of veterinary experience in a general practice or emergency setting.

+ Experience with triaging patients and client education/communication.

+ Weekend availability

Schedule:

+ Full-time position working 4/10s (four 10-hour shifts per week).

+ Available schedule options:

+ Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday

+ Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

+ **Shift hours:** 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

**Compensation:** Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
