    **Job Summary:** Petrochem is currently seeking a **Branch Safety Manager I in our Vancouver, WA branch office.** This position reports to the HSE Vice President and supports the organization's mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence and competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, commitment to our community, accountability, and ownership. This position supports the HSE efforts in Vancouver, WA, White City, OR and jobsites in the Pacific Northwest.

    PAYRATE: $80,000

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Provides leadership in driving Petrochem Safety Culture

    + Ensures all employees follow HSE policies and procedures.

    + Provides leadership and direction and holds management accountable for safety.

    + Communicates safety concerns to Management and maintains strong relationships with branch management teams

    + Follows and understands all Health & Safety/Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) procedures as outlined in the company procedures and policies

    + Maintains a personal injury (incident) rate at or below company standard

    + Reviews incidents and corrective actions for completion and closure and inputs/monitors preventative actions from HSE alerts.

    + Collects and maintains HSE data/metrics, runs weekly/monthly HSE related reports

    + Assists HSE with manual updates and distribution.

    + Updates/maintains OSHA log

    + Updates intranet with alerts, monthly safety topics, policies and forms

    + Counsel and advise branch as subject matter expert for Safety Operations

    + Manages Good Catch/Good Save program for compliance

    + Manage branch behavioral based safety program for compliance

    + Develop and maintain strong relationships with client safety representatives

    + Ability to effectively utilize various software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite and Vista.

    + Other duties as assigned

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

    + Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) or equivalent

    Licenses & Certifications:

    + Must have OSHA 30

    + OSHA 500 preferred

    Travel:

    + Travel to jobsites within the Pacific Northwest as required by business needs
