**Job Title:** Security Crew Member

**P** **ay Rate:** $20.27/hour

**Job Summary:** Petrochem Insulation is seeking reliable and vigilant **Security Crew Members** to help protect our people, property, and operations. This role involves maintaining a high level of visibility, controlling access to the facility, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be alert, professional, and able to balance security functions with excellent customer service. If you take pride in maintaining order and safety, we encourage you to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor gate access and control entry into the plant.

• Verify identification of employees, guests, and contractors.

• Provide guest management and visitor escorting as needed.

• Scale bulk product trucks and trailers accurately.

• Use internal computer systems to check in orders and track activity.

• Conduct routine patrols throughout the facility, both interior and exterior.

• Maintain communication with various plant departments for situational awareness.

• Respond to plant emergencies and assist in crisis management protocols.

• Deliver excellent customer service in all interactions.

• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.

Key Requirements and Education Experience:

**Experience:** Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.

**Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required.

**Certifications:** Security guard license or certification (if required by state) preferred.

**Technical Skills:** Basic computer proficiency; ability to learn and operate access systems and security software.

**Physical Stamina:** Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for long periods; lift up to 30 lbs.

**Communication Skills:** Strong verbal and written communication for reporting and coordination.

**Customer Service:** Ability to interact professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors.

**Attention to Detail:** Observant and thorough in checking credentials and identifying irregularities.

**Team Player:** Works well independently and as part of a response or patrol team.

**Flexibility:** Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and respond to emergencies as needed.

**Travel:** No travel required
