    Advertising/Posting Title Lab Research Technician

    Posting Summary

    Assist to facilitate and instruct multiple sections of general Biology/BioCore laboratories or recitation. Prepare for lab/recitation, conduct lab/recitation sections, and hold office hours. Attend course training and weekly TA meetings, grade student work, and assist with the course exam proctoring and grading. Support Laboratory Coordinator with course preparation, execution, and grading.

     

    Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

     

    Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field and prior classroom or research experience with basic biology laboratory methods required.

    Desirable Qualifications

    Prior teaching experience desirable.

     

    Anticipated Pay Range $21.50-24.00 hourly

    Other Information

    This is a full-time 9-month, 1.0 FTE position with term dates August 16 – May 15 annually to align with the academic year. This position starts August 16, 2025.
