We’re expanding our North American fertilizer market coverage and are looking for a high-energy Fertilizer Market Pricing Analyst to join our global pricing team.

The Role

As a Fertilizer Market Pricing Analyst, you will build and maintain a network of industry contacts—including buyers, sellers, and intermediaries—to gather fertilizer pricing and market sentiment. You'll analyze and synthesize this data to produce high-confidence, proprietary price assessments for defined regional markets.

This role is well-suited for a motivated, curious professional with a strong interest in the fertilizer industry. You’ll track market developments, uncover trends, and deliver insights that inform a wide range of industry participants.

You’ll also support product strategy by incorporating client feedback, leading ad-hoc projects, and contributing to product marketing efforts. Additionally, you’ll help report industry news to support our global market coverage.

What You’ll Do

+ Develop and manage a proprietary network for sourcing fertilizer prices and market sentiment

+ Operate within Bloomberg’s established price discovery framework

+ Use Salesforce to streamline network development and activity tracking

+ Organize and manage data using pricing tools and best practices

+ Follow established ethical and operational guidelines

+ Provide written market sentiment narratives and short-format industry news articles for publication

What You’ll Need

+ 3+ years of experience analyzing, buying, or selling fertilizer products

+ Deep understanding of fertilizer pricing dynamics and market mechanisms

+ Strong knowledge of the fertilizer industry and key market players

+ Excellent communication, relationship-building, and networking skills

+ Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw clear conclusions from market data
