Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to perform financial modeling, evaluate contract changes, and develop new reimbursement models. The role involves analyzing managed care contracts to ensure financial optimization and compliance, producing impactful reports for senior leadership, and providing strategic insights into financial metrics and contract performance. You will support cross-functional teams with managed care analytics and forecasting while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities
+ Perform financial modeling to evaluate contract changes and new reimbursement models.
+ Analyze managed care contracts to ensure financial optimization and compliance.
+ Produce high-impact reports and presentations for senior leadership.
+ Provide strategic insight into key financial metrics and contract performance.
+ Support cross-functional teams with managed care analytics and forecasting.
+ Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and internal standards.
+ Develop and deliver detailed financial presentations and reports tailored to leadership and stakeholders.
+ Prepare comprehensive project updates, including strategic insights and recommendations.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex analytical and operational challenges.
+ Standardize internal reporting tools and templates to improve reporting efficiency.
+ Conduct benchmarking and trend analysis to drive process improvements.
+ Create and maintain Excel-based models to support data reporting and financial planning.
+ Translate complex data into actionable insights for program development and strategic initiatives.
+ Partner with leadership to identify informational needs and promote automated data access.
Essential Skills
+ Expertise in financial modeling and forecasting.
+ Proficiency in Excel for financial reporting.
+ Must have Healthcare industry experience.
+ Strong understanding of healthcare coding systems including CPT, HCPCS, and ICD/Dx.
+ Excellent reporting skills and ability to produce impactful presentations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree.
+ At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting.
Work Environment
This role is remote but requires local presence in LA. The work hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The position is initially contract-based with potential for hire, offering a chance to work in a dynamic environment of a multi-billion dollar hospital.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
