    Job Title: Sr Accounting Consultant

    Job Description

    This Sr Accounting Consultant will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Accounting team with stock compensation, pension, and corporate debt accounting functions.

    Responsibilities

    + Ensure the accurate and complete preparation of monthly financial reporting schedules and financial statements for assigned areas or functions.

    + Prepare journal entries to record inter-company financial transactions.

    + Support the technical accounting team with updates to accounting policy documents.

    + Assist with account reconciliations.

    + Respond to both internal and external audit requests as needed.

    + Perform accounting for Stock Compensation, Pension, Debt, and other corporate-related areas in accordance with ASC 718, ASC 715, ASC 350, and ASC 260.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with FASB, CPA, and technical accounting.

    + Proficiency in financial reporting, month-end procedures, and account reconciliations.

    + Knowledge of Stock Compensation Accounting (ASC 718) and Pension Accounting (ASC 715).

    + Experience in Good Will Accounting (ASC 350) and Earnings Per Share.

    + Familiarity with Oracle Cloud.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

    + 5+ years of experience with US GAAP functions within an organization exceeding $500M in revenue.

    + 5+ years of experience with account reconciliations for stock compensation, pension accounting, corporate debt, group insurance, earnings per share, and goodwill.

    + Experience with ASC Standards: 718, 715, 350, and 260.

    + 3+ years of experience with an ERP such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, JDE, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.

    + 5+ years of experience with advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including creating advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data manipulations.

    Work Environment

    This role will report to the Director of Technical Accounting & Financial Systems on a team of 4+. The opportunity offers a chance to work for a prominent, publicly traded international tech/IT services company.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
