    Job Title: Civil DesignerJob Description

     

    We are seeking a Civil Designer with over 3 years of experience, preferably with expertise in Civil3D or similar software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grading and drainage design, road design, creating surfaces, and working with existing/proposed contours (topography). Additionally, experience in storm sewer layout/design, parking lot design, and a solid understanding of engineering/surveying standard practices is essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Create and design projects using Civil3D software.

    + Support civil and energy teams with project designs.

    + Work on cell tower projects.

    + Perform self QA/QC.

    + Collaborate with the Energy Department lead to support EV Battery Storage and Fueling station projects.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Civil3D.

    + Experience in grading and drainage design.

    + Knowledge of topography.

    + Understanding of engineering/surveying standard practices.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associates degree minimum.

    + Experience with AutoCAD, site development, layout design, Revit, Navisworks, MicroStation, InfraWorks, and Autodesk.

    Work Environment

    The position requires working from 8 AM to 5 PM in a business casual environment, within an office/cube setting. The company currently has over 80 employees and is expected to grow as the project load increases. Employees accrue 1.5 hours of PTO per week and enjoy 8 holidays annually.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
