Job Title: Energy Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Energy Manager to lead our initiatives in promoting renewable and sustainable energy resources. The role involves benchmarking energy consumption against best practice guidelines and expanding personnel training on energy efficiency. You will monitor and analyze energy consumption across all facilities, identify areas for improvement, and verify enhancements while addressing any significant deviations in consumption. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating facility systems to determine improvement potential and working with plant teams to monitor progress compared to industry benchmarks.
Responsibilities
+ Encourage the use of renewable and sustainable energy resources.
+ Benchmark energy consumption against best practice guidelines.
+ Facilitate and expand personnel training on energy efficiency.
+ Monitor and analyze energy consumption at all company facilities.
+ Identify and prioritize areas for improvement in energy consumption.
+ Verify energy consumption improvements and correct any significant deviations.
+ Evaluate the operating performance of facility systems and equipment.
+ Work with plant teams to identify progress and setbacks at a facility level.
+ Vet and propose schedules for upgrade activities.
+ Identify milestones and facilitate the timely completion of corporate energy use reduction goals.
+ Develop and implement a carbon fuel use reduction program.
+ Build support at all levels of the organization for energy initiatives and goals.
+ Assist in budgeting for plant energy costs.
+ Promote synergy between cost reductions and energy improvements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, or related field
+ 5+ years of experience in energy management or assessment
+ Knowledge of electrical, combustion, and HVAC equipment systems

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
