Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianResponsibilities
+ Contact patients and/or caregivers to schedule deliveries and assess supply needs.
+ Pick and pack medical supplies to fulfill patient orders.
+ Accurately dispense products in the computer system to generate delivery tickets and prescription labels.
+ Confirm delivery tickets after delivery.
+ Assist the pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.
Essential Skills
+ Active IL Pharmacy Technician Certification.
+ Illinois Pharmacy Technician License, up to date.
+ 1-3 years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a specialty pharmacy.
+ Experience with prior authorization.
+ Strong customer service skills and good phone etiquette.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment
This role offers a hybrid work environment, promoting a good work-life balance. Training lasts between 6-8 weeks (on-site), depending on individual progress. The position 2 days onsite and 3 days remote. Remote days are a privilege that can be revoked if performance expectations are not met. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
