    This job is for a Engineering Documentation Specialist that will support engineering change notices within Mechanical and Manufacturing Teams.

    Job Details Summary includes:

    • Compose ECNs in Windchill PDM from change requests using drawing and BOM markups, engineer instructions, customer provided info, and inferred knowledge

    • Determine implementation plan for change requests and assign tasks to appropriate member roles through Windchill

    • Complete change activities related to part creation, revision control, drawing updates, and BOM updates

    • Regularly communicate with stakeholders of any outstanding work to be completed to incorporate changes and status updates of ECNs

    • Meet metrics for ECN throughput and lead times by logging pertinent information throughout the ECN lifecycle

    • Improve ECN turn-times through collaboration with engineering and manufacturing to ensure the timely implementation of change requests

    • Potentially assist in the development of new processes related to engineering change management

    • Will be given stretch projects to help them expand their capabilities and gain exposure to new areas of the business

    Skills and Competencies:

    • AS Degree in related skillset: EET, MET, Manu Tech etc

    • Will consider entry level Bachelors degree students or candidates who are still in school and can work full-time during the day

    • Ideally looking for entry level with desire to learn and ability to handle change

    • Some ability to interpret technical data and information

    • Strong organization and communication skills

    • Prior experience in a PDM and ERP system or willingness to learn

    • They use Windchill. This person doesn’t need to know it. Must be willing to learn it

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
