    Responsibilities

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Requires High school diploma (or equivalent)

    + Minimum of one (1) year recent hospital experience (or equivalent) in the capacity of an Operating Room Technician, as OB Scrub Tech or OB Tech OR must have all of the following:

    + a) received practical education at St. John's surgical department within the last six (6) months,

    + b) above average performance during practical education, and

    + c) completion of a Surgical Technologist training program.

    + Current CPR certification required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Successful completion of an OR Technician Training program and/or certification as an Operating Technician is highly desired

     

    This position is represented by SEIU, Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

    Qualifications

    + Labor & Delivery Technician functions as a team member during the preoperative, intra-operative and postoperative phases of obstetrical surgical procedures.

    + Actively participates as a member of the Labor & Delivery Patient Care Team.

    $31.83 - $39.78 /hour
