Job Title: Repair Technician

Job Description

As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the electronic troubleshooting and repair of multi-layer PC boards used for electronic pump/current regulators. You will utilize various test equipment and perform component-level troubleshooting to ensure the optimal functioning of these devices.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment to the component level.

+ Utilize test equipment such as DVM's, Calibrators, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Analyzers, Frequency Counters, and Phase Meters.

+ Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative actions.

+ Read and comprehend electronic schematic diagrams and test procedures.

+ Handle equipment weighing up to 50lbs unassisted.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment at the component level.

+ An AAS degree or equivalent in electronics technology.

+ Proficiency in both digital and analog circuitry.

+ Fluency in English with strong customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of metrology operations.

+ Experience with computer-based test programs.

Work Environment

Work in a multicultural setting alongside six other Repair Technicians and a lead. The environment is clean and climate-controlled, fostering teamwork and collaboration. ESD Protective Equipment must be worn to maintain safety standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
