    Job Title: Welder

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Welder I to join our team on the first shift, operating from 5:30am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays from 5am to 10am. The Welder I will perform entry-level work under close supervision, utilizing arc welding techniques and oxygen/acetylene torches for cutting metals. The role involves operating hand and power tools to grind, bevel, fit metals together, and remove slag, while selecting proper electrodes and holders and regulating current and time. A welding certification is preferred, along with 4-5 years of experience.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize modification and welding skills (minimum AWS 3G/4G level) to rework cab and other components.

    + Perform welding (AWS 3G/4G) in accordance with blueprints.

    + Learn and retain necessary skills and practices to complete welding in the assigned area.

    + Fabricate components from raw stock, following detailed operator instructions, installation drawings, and blueprints.

    + Understand and articulate the production flow of an assigned product line or area.

    + Self-check work and inspect prior processes.

    + Use basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools as required.

    + Meet production goals and maintain a clean and safe work area.

    + Initiate process improvements and support 5S in work area.

    + Lead and perform lean events.

    + Communicate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

    + Solve complex problems with minimal assistance.

    Essential Skills

    + 4-5 years of related experience.

    + Ability to pass required welding certification test in AWS material sections.

    + Proficiency in either MIG or TIG welding for steel, stainless, and aluminum.

    + Understanding of AWS welding symbols.

    + Ability to set up, adjust, and maintain welding machines.

    + Excellent attendance and positive attitude.

    + Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.

    + Basic computer skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience and/or certifications preferred.

    + Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and rotate within various weld areas.

    + Capability to wear PPE respirators for extended periods.

    + Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, including weld specifications.

    + Availability to work overtime on short notice.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $58240.00/yr.

    - 401k: 100% match of first 3%, and 50% match for the next 2%

    - 4 Tiers: Employee only, Employee and Spouse, Employee and Children, Family. 3 plan options: PPO, HDHP Gold, HDHP Silver

     

    - Dental and Vision Plans

     

    - Basic life insurance coverage of $30,000

     

    - PTO: 60 hours in first 2 years, then 100 hours year 2-5, 140 hours year 5-10, 180 hours at 10 years and after

    This is a fully onsite position in Lancaster,PA.
