Job Title: Cable Assembler
Job Description
A Cable Assembler is responsible for assembling and modifying electronic equipment, which includes routing wires, cutting and soldering, installing components, and performing quality control checks. This role requires working with schematics and blueprints to ensure precision and accuracy.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
+ Identify and track wires and cables.
+ Use hand tools and machines to assemble parts.
+ Inspect components and assembled products for quality and accuracy.
+ Perform quality control checks and measurements.
+ Repair or replace defective components if needed.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Work in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential Skills
+ Assembly knowledge of electrical test cables.
+ 2-4 years of experience in cable assembly.
+ Ability to comprehend and assemble equipment from electrical design schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical design documents.
+ Familiarity with wire, connectors, insulation, shrink tubing, etc.
+ Proficiency in using electronic assembly tools including manual/automatic wire crimpers, soldering irons, heat guns, de-soldering equipment, and simple electrical test equipment.
+ Familiarity with ESD handling procedures.
+ English fluency.
+ Ability to move or handle 40 pounds unassisted.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with harness and electronic assembly.
+ Knowledge of soldering and crimping.
+ Experience with hand tools and blueprint reading.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
