Job Title: Expeditor

Job Description

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our team. This role primarily involves expediting tasks, making up 80% of the position, with the remaining 20% spent on the production floor. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Excel or have experience with an ERP system, although the latter is not required.

Responsibilities

+ Update and track production orders efficiently.

+ Handle production control tasks as required.

+ Manage inventory updates and tracking within the manufacturing facility.

+ Perform data entry related to supply chain and inventory management.

+ Lift items weighing 15-20lbs as part of daily tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

+ Experience with ERP systems is a plus not needed if Excel is very proficient.

+ Strong organizational skills.

+ Effective communication abilities.

+ Competence in computer operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in expediting materials its a plus but not needed

+ Knowledge of supply chain processes.

+ Background in production and inventory management is a plus but not needed

Work Environment

The work environment involves 80% office work and 20% time on the production floor. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexibility in start times between 7am and 8am, working 8 hours a day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Winsted, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
