Job Title: Electro-Mechanic Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Join our maintenance department as an Electro-Mechanic Maintenance Technician, supporting the production floor by maintaining and servicing equipment and machines. Your role will involve troubleshooting equipment failures and performing mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and electrical maintenance to ensure production goals are met.
Responsibilities
+ Cover all emergency breakdowns and repairs promptly.
+ Report equipment problems, leaks, and deficiencies, and act as needed.
+ Perform preventative maintenance tasks as per the Preventative Maintenance Program.
+ Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase motors up to 480v.
+ Utilize testing equipment such as multi-meters.
+ Familiarity with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems.
+ Understand pneumatics.
+ Assess and determine the operational state of equipment, filters, oil, hydraulics, compressors, motors, pumps, plumbing, and electrical systems.
+ Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on PLCs, diagnose and resolve PLC hardware and software issues.
+ Utilize PLC programming software for troubleshooting and modifications.
+ Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on PLC systems.
+ Collaborate with the engineering team to implement PLC upgrades and improvements.
+ Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff on PLC troubleshooting and repair techniques.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to perform all basic mechanical and electrical duties.
+ Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature, and pressure gauges.
+ Ability to learn manufacturing processes and inspect, repair, or replace components.
+ Proficiency in reading and following blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
+ Experience operating test equipment and software.
+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
+ Knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, and repair.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ At least 5 years of electro-mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably industrial manufacturing.
+ Strong problem-solving skills.
+ Solid prior work history.
+ Ability to handle a flexible work environment while meeting deadlines.
+ Ability to maintain consistent, punctual, and regular attendance.
+ Completion of a mechanical/electrical knowledge test.

Work Environment
Work in a steel manufacturing facility building columns for steel racking systems. Expect moderate noise levels and a somewhat dirty environment. The facility is not climate-controlled, so temperatures can vary depending on the time of year. Shifts available: 1st shift from 6 am to 2 pm, and 2nd shift from 2 pm to 10 pm with a $1.50 differential.

This is a direct hire position based out of Leola, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
