    Job Description - Student Intern, Resource Management

    Position Description

    Tucson Electric Power, one of Arizona’s leading utility companies, seeks an individual for the position of Resource Management Team (RMT) Student Intern. The RMT department is looking to add an enthusiastic individual to assist in project management with existing projects and processes.

     

    Position-Related Responsibilities

    Assist the department with various tasks such as:

    + Organizing and storing of documents on software systems

    + Processing reports

    + Work closely with project managers and scheduling coordinators with evaluations, analysis and all other document preparation as needed.

    + Assist with other duties or assignments as needed

    + General shadowing and assisting with project managers

    Qualifications

    + Be pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline with an _anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or later._

    + Be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during regular business hours; up to 40 hours a week may be available during the summer and school breaks.

    + Must be a full-time college student, enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, in an accredited University or Community College and maintain a good academic standing

    + Have a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to protect highly sensitive and confidential information

    + Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills

    + Possess functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products

    + Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment

    **Pay Rate:** Salary determined based on candidates experience and qualifications.
