Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 7 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master's degree in Law, Business or Compliance.
+ Experience with identifying risks and developing solutions to ensure ongoing compliance and mitigate issues.
+ Experience in compliance program management principles, risk assessment methodologies, and internal control frameworks.
+ Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, within the team and external stakeholders.
+ Ability to bring structure to complex and ambiguous situations along with excellent problem-solving skills.
The Google Compliance team makes sure that our business is always consistent with the current financial regulations. Comprised of multitaskers, this team balances Google's legal and compliance requirements with the dynamic needs of our users and the values of our company. As part of this team, you proactively identify pain points and gaps in existing policy frameworks and find innovative solutions. You develop efficient compliance systems and work with teams to implement these across the organization. You are thorough in all you do and see to it that as Google pursues our next big idea, we always have our bases covered.
We are seeking an experienced compliance program manager to drive key privacy compliance programs. You will have an understanding of compliance frameworks, risk assessment, and internal controls, coupled with the ability to collaborate across the organization and influence at all levels.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $131,000-$192,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Lead and execute compliance programs across product areas to drive business outcomes that promote compliance standards and principles.
+ Partner with cross-functional program teams influencing alignment on program goals and strategy.
+ Develop relationships and communicate findings to all levels of management.
+ Develop materials to train business partners on compliance programs. Partner with business to improve their compliance programs.
+ Conduct risk assessments, identify potential compliance gaps, and develop and implement mitigation plans, strategies, and frameworks.
