A Brief Overview
The Marketing Officer is responsible for the overall marketing strategies, implementation, scheduling, and analytics that need to be conducted in order to support the brand, the Bank's regions, and its different lines of business (credit cards, personal loans & Money Express). Also, is responsible for the deployment of cohesive marketing plans, budget, analytics, conversion rates, and results to improve marketing initiatives’ ROI. The Officer ensures that all communication pieces are up to date, follow Bank’s brand guidelines and meet compliance and legal requirements.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
• Develops 360 marketing communications plans and budgets in line with the business units' products and services goals under the supervision of the direct supervisor. Including Mailers (Direct To Consumer) efforts as traditional media support for consumer line of business.
• Responsibility includes the development, monitoring, analysis and optimization of the Digital Marketing strategy across all digital channels including, but not limited to, email marketing, social media, display advertising campaigns, corporate website, and internal channels.
• Executes marketing communications efforts in a timely and efficient manner and oversees the production of communication materials and advertising pieces.
• Maintains an open and constructive dialogue and working relationship with the business units, direct supervisor, team members, advertising agencies and similar partners and suppliers. Also finds a new approach to deliver expected results.
• Reviews and analyzes the execution of all marketing communications efforts on a quarterly basis with all requested reports. Keeps metrics and studies of all marketing campaigns, efforts, activities, programs and events and analyzes same for recommendations in future programs. Metrics include, but are not limited to: ROI, market shares, media SOV & SOI.
• Maintains a budget for the respective brand, businesses, products, and services and provides the business with the analysis and information required on a timely and regular basis as established.
• Manages event coordination and supervision while is responsible for analyzing results.
• Processes routine paperwork, including compliance, legal, accounting and payables under the direct instruction of immediate supervisor.
• Builds marketing communication knowledge through on-the-job training and seminars.
• Develops and completes special projects and tasks as requested by the direct supervisor or management.

Competencies:
• Highly motivated self-starter who can multi-task and respond to changing work activities with very short deadlines. Passionate about understanding consumers and developing marketing and communications programs
• High proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Demonstration of strong project management and organization skills
• Excellent English and Spanish written and oral communications skills are a must
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team – especially in complex and ambiguous work environments.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of ownership and accuracy in all work activities
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships within the marketing department and business units
• Digital marketing communication strategies
Minimum Requirements You’ll Need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Business Administration . Or the equivalent combination of Education and Experience needed to be able to perform the functions of this job.
• 3-5 years in planning, coordination, and organization of marketing communication materials, including art development, communications and advertising; ability to handle basic accounting matters.
