Join us in our brand new 8500 sqft innovation center in Austin, where we focus on solving our customers' greatest unmet needs with disruptive solutions to enable our customers to deliver the best patient outcomes.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our team. This engineer will create both UI interfaces and back-end API for robotic projects. The ideal candidate will also have experience in embedded controls, artificial intelligence and networking.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and implement software systems for robotic products.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams from product, engineering, services, sales and other key stakeholders to rapidly prototype solutions.
+ Work in a lean startup environment, starting with problems to be solved and hacking together prototypes for customer validation.
+ Engage with customers to gather feedback and iterate on solutions.
+ Push the envelope in engineering solutions, with a focus on disruptive and innovative approaches.
Required Skills:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ 6+ years of experience in Front and Back-end development.
+ 2+ years of experience with IOT or autonomous systems.
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience in many of the following areas:
+ Deploying service oriented and microservices architectures
+ .NET Framework and Java
+ Building event-driven architectures using messaging systems/service bus, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
+ Working experience with APIs (REST)
+ Deploying applications in the public cloud using technologies like Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
+ Experience with Python and C++ Familiarity with machine vision technologies and algorithms.
+ Familiarity with Networking and Connectivity Principles.
+ Knowledge of machine vision and machine learning.
+ Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
+ Proven track record of developing disruptive solutions in an entrepreneurial setting.
+ Extra points for attempting to build something revolutionary that failed and learning from the experience.
+ Experience in healthcare is a bonus.
