The Medical Staff. Manager is responsible for daily operations and oversight of Medical staff operations for all Scotland Health Care physicians and advanced practice providers to include oversight of human resource requirements, associate health requirements, budgeting, and general compliance with hospital rules as it relates to employed or contacted providers. This position oversees the daily functions to include appropriate call schedule coverage, sourcing locum and PRN physician candidates, cost control for contract physician services and daily request by medical staff providers. This position is responsible for timely and accurate payroll, tracking of continued medical education., licensure., and associate health requirements for all hospital based physicians. The Medical Staff Manager serves as the subject matter expert in reference to Medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and Joint Commission requirements for compliance. This position is responsible for oversight and compliance for medical students outside the scope of our Advanced Graduate Education area. This position is responsible for hospital based physician contract management via our contract software. Serve as the ambassador for our medical staff office to both providers and other customers.

Qualifications include:

BA or BS with an emphasis in Management, Analytics or related field. Proficient Microsoft and organization skills. Ability to work proficiently independently and with a team, identify and resolve issues related to medical staff duties, manage medical staff office while also collaborating with other areas and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and efficient services for providers, ability to work well under stress, excellent verbal and written communication skills, flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required. Adopt the culture that the Medical Staff office extends outside the actual office to collaborate and coordinate with our physician leaders where they are daily, whether that be in their office or other areas of the health care system.
