Job Description

The IT Data Engineer – Level 1 will be responsible for working on moderately complex projects focusing on data engineering pipelines, data modeling, and analytics. This role involves acquiring data into the Data Lake/Data Warehouse from various SAP ERP systems, developing database artifacts, deploying large-scale data solutions using modern data/analytics technologies, and efficiently utilizing Google Cloud Platform for data analysis, modeling, and visualization. Additional tasks include designing data processing pipelines, creating and maintaining pipelines for machine learning and statistical models, integrating massive datasets, collaborating with Data Scientists and Analysts, understanding containerization technologies, participating in SDLC tasks, and providing support during the initial weeks after go-live and beyond.

Skills/Qualifications

Required:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering or related quantitative field

+ Minimum 1 year of experience in Information Technology, including experience in Reporting, Data Analytics and building data pipelines.

+ Basic understanding of technical environment, including technical area development and architecture of SAP

Preferred:

+ Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering or related quantitative field with basic understanding of data analytics, building data pipelines, and technical environments that include technical area development and architecture of SAP
