    Position Overview

    We are seeking a visionary and strategic Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Solution Executive (SE) Lead to lead our dynamic team of GCP Solutions Architects and the creation of client- focused GCP solutions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for the industry’s best talent to join our Solution Executive team.

     

    The GCP Solution Executive Lead takes a servant leadership role in driving collaboration and high-quality results across Sales, Solution Architects, Front Office, and Delivery teams.

     

    Your ability to bridge business and technology, perform discovery, and communicate with varied stakeholders is crucial for TGS and our clients’ success.

     

    The GCP Solution Executive Lead maintains an individual portfolio of many simultaneous opportunities within the sales/solutioning business cycle including pre-sales strategy, solutioning, contracting, and transition to delivery.

     

    The GCP Solution Executive Lead is expected to influence and guide services revenue growth more than $10M per year.

     

    Though typically limited, this role may require occasional travel.

    Primary responsibilities and requisite skills required, but not limited to the following:

    • Lead, manage, inspire, and mentor a geographically distributed team of highly skilled GCP Solutions Architects, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.

    • In collaboration with Sales, drive and support business development activities by defining, articulating, and executing the strategic direction for the GCP Solutions Architect team, ensuring tight alignment with overall company objectives, market dynamics, and Google Cloud's trajectory.

    • Develop and drive a business and technological point of view to our customers.

    • Provide market insight into the creation of practice artifacts, accelerators and assets.

    • In collaboration with the Practice team, develop comprehensive cloud strategies, architectural blueprints, assessments, and implementation roadmaps both for the practice's evolution and for sophisticated client engagements. This involves understanding client needs, determining appropriate strategies, and developing robust plans for delivery.

    • Cultivate a vibrant culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence within the Solutions Architecture team, encouraging exploration of new GCP features, AI techniques, and delivery methodologies.

    • Serve as a primary technical advisor and build enduring, trusted relationships with key client Architecture Leaders, including C-suite stakeholders.

    • Engage deeply with senior client leadership to comprehend their strategic business objectives, critical success factors, operational challenges, and digital transformation goals.

    • Expertly position Google Cloud Platform capabilities, particularly AI-driven solutions, as strategic enablers to address core business problems and unlock significant value.

    • Provide authoritative technical guidance, architectural oversight, and quality assurance across the portfolio of GCP projects delivered by the team.

    • Lead presales end-to-end IT strategy development and cloud advisory engagements, ensuring the design of robust, secure, scalable, and cost-effective GCP solutions. Ensure adherence to architectural best practices, such as the Google Cloud Architecture Framework or AWS Well-Architected Framework concepts adapted for GCP.

    Opportunity Specific

    • Ensure proposed solutions align with client business, technical, process, resource, and contractual requirements.

    • Demonstrate thought leadership early and throughout the sales cycle.

    • Engage solution architects, leadership, and other internal partners at the appropriate time to ensure delivery excellence, mitigate risk, and facilitate solution development and communication.

    • Own solution development, pricing, and associated deliverables/proposals.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Transition new business to delivery, ensuring a proper handoff and project start.

    • Support account management at key accounts.

    • As appropriate, alliance partnership activities with key technology partners.

    Required Education and/or Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar IT-Business field.

    • At least 12 years of experience leading the solutioning of professional services with significant business and technology executive interaction required.

    • At least 10 years of overall progressive experience in technical roles within enterprise software development, systems engineering, infrastructure management, or cloud computing.

    • At least 5 years of deep, hands-on experience specifically focused on cloud architecture, design, implementation, and strategy, with significant expertise in Google Cloud Platform in a complex, global professional services organization.

    • At least 5 years in leadership roles with demonstrated ability to achieve team goals, develop people, and build collaborative relationships.

    • At least 4 years of experience selling, solutioning, or consulting in a top tier consulting organization strongly preferred (Accenture, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC, etc.).

    • GCP certifications strongly preferred.

    • Strong, practical understanding and implementation experience with cloud-native architectural principles, microservices patterns, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE), serverless computing, API strategy and management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (esp. Terraform), CI/CD methodologies and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build), and DevOps/SRE practices.

    • Must have leadership experience as the pre-sales or solutioning leader for multiple $10M+ USD Professional Services deals.

    • Hands on experience should include developing and presenting proposals (inclusive of win theme development, pricing strategy, developing effort/cost estimates, and content creation); writing statements of work with associated Terms and Conditions; and contributing to client negotiations.

    • Must have strong business and GCP-related technology acumen with the ability to communicate capabilities, gather and assess client requirements, and communicate solution and value proposition to IT and Business client leadership.

    • Ability to manage priorities and time well.

    • Must be able to set the strategic direction for the GCP solution architect team while also being able to operate at a detailed level

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $137300.00 - $205900.00/yr.

     

    We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.Additional earnings may be available through incentive programs like annual bonuses, profit sharing, etc.Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan or program terms.
