_Certified Stick Welders - RED IRON ERECTION_

Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring Certified Stick Welders, certified in positions 1, 2, and 3 for steel and iron erection, for commercial projects in the Kansas City area. The pay range is $30-35 per hour based on experience and certification level. All Certified Stick Welders are scheduled 40+ hours a week. We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven professionals. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit.

Ultimate Job Duties

+ Perform shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), manual metal arc welding (MMAW or MMA), and flux shielded welding (https://x.com/i/grok?text=flux%20shielded%20welding) in positions 1, 2, and 3 for steel and iron erection.

+ Weld and join materials such as structural steel, iron, and other metals commonly used in commercial construction.

+ Install, repair, and fabricate metal components for steel and iron erection projects.

+ Work alongside other trades, including plumbers, HVAC technicians, and manufacturing engineers, to support project completion.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings specific to steel and iron erection.

+ Follow and enforce OSHA regulations (https://x.com/i/grok?text=OSHA%20regulations) , ensuring safe welding practices in all positions.

Ultimate Stick Welder Requirements

+ Valid certification in Stick Welding (SMAW) for positions 1, 2, and 3, specifically for steel and iron erection.

+ 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on structural welding.

+ Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, welding helmet, gloves, flame-resistant jacket, vest, steel toe boots).

+ Must have basic hand tools required for welding, including welding clamps, chipping hammer, wire brush, and measuring tools.

+ Ability to perform regular standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting of up to 50 lbs without assistance.

+ Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces as required for steel and iron erection.

+ Drug Test Required.

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
