BAE Systems is looking for an senior-level Software (Full Stack) Engineerto join a strong team supporting our government customer. This position will provide the ability to make a significant impact to the mission.

The Full Stack Engineer must possess a diverse and adaptable technical skill set to support the unit s broad range of technology stacks. The individual shall demonstrate advanced proficiency in software development across multiple platforms and frameworks currently utilized. The Full Stack Engineer will collaborate closely with both government and contractor development teams to support full lifecycle activities related to application development and O&M. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the elicitation, analysis, and refinement of technical requirements and specifications as provided by system stakeholders. The Full Stack Engineer shall contribute to all phases of lifecycle development, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment, ensuring high-quality and mission-aligned technical solutions.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Minimum of 8 years of hands-on Java Development

+ Strong JavaScript/Ajax Application Development

+ Strong experience with Microservices architecture

+ Strong cloud/AWS experience (Console, RDS, S3, EBS, AMIs, IaaS); Preferable AWS Certified Developer certification

+ Proficiency in using the Spring Cloud framework

+ Experience with Spring Security, including authentication and authorization mechanisms

+ Familiarity with JWT (JSON Web Token) for secure communication

+ Expertise in using Spring Data JPA for efficient data access and manipulation

+ Familiarity with JWT (JSON Web Token) for secure communication

+ Expertise in using Spring Data JPA

+ Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuning

+ Ability to write complex SQL queries

+ Strong understanding of Git for version control and CI/CD pipeline implementation

+ Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

+ Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment

+ Experience with Agile methodology

+ Experience with RESTful APIs, OAuth, JWT, SAML

+ Experience in writing unit tests and integration tests

+ Experience with NEST-JS

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams

+ Experience with Agile methodology experience

+ Must have tangible development experience with Angular development

+ Angular version 13; Angular version 17 or higher preferred

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
