• Sr AI & Full Stack Engineer

    CTG is seeking to fill a Sr AI & Full Stack Engineer for our client in New York, NY.

     

    **Location:** New York, NY

    **Duration:** 7 months

    Duties:

    + Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.

    + Build responsive and modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript.

    + Integrate Generative AI technologies (e.g., GPT, BERT) into enterprise-grade applications.

    + Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and orchestrate AI workflows.

    + Ensure high-quality code through CI/CD pipelines and participate in system architecture decisions.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, cloud-native, and scalable platforms.

    + Mentor junior engineers and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Skills:

    + Expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Batch), API-first design, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka.

    + Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development practices.

    + Experience with Generative AI technologies (OpenAI APIs, LangChain, Hugging Face).

    + Familiarity with AI/ML model fine-tuning, vector databases, and RAG systems.

    + Strong skills in system architecture, hybrid cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, Kubernetes.

    + Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to performance and scalability.

    Experience:

    + 7+ years of experience in full stack software development.

    + 2+ years working with Generative AI or large language models in production environments.

    + Prior experience leading technical initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

    The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00/hour to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
