Technical Client Specialist

CTG is seeking to fill a Technical Client Specialist for our client in Durham, NC.
**Location:** Durham, NC
**Duration:** 2 years +, with possibility for extension
Duties:
+ Conduct detailed product presentations and live demonstrations of PC devices to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
+ Serve as the primary technical advisor on technology within the North America Technical Sales team
+ Support customer pursuits by working closely with sales, technical, and 4P teams to identify and recommend optimal AMD-powered solutions
+ Collaborate with AMD Field Sales and Field Application Engineers to support customer engagements, RFPs, and joint initiatives
+ Lead technical training sessions for Inside Sales (B6), Technical Client Advisors, and broader salesforce
+ Organize and lead technical workshops focused on industry-specific solutions and customer application rationalization
+ Provide input to Services team to craft and identify services that accelerate AMD solution adoption and position company as a technology leader
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PC industry trends, security, connectivity, and deployment strategies
Skills:
+ Excellent technical presentation and demonstration skills
+ Strong knowledge of PC industry practices including deployment, applications, security, and connectivity
+ Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
+ Strong collaboration and communication skills to function within cross-functional teams
+ Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
+ Ability to deliver effective training and technical enablement
Experience:
+ Proven background in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or client specialist roles
+ Hands-on experience with AMD technology and PC solutions is highly desirable
+ Experience conducting technical workshops and solution assessments
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred
